Information
Security Consulting
Our consulting
rates start at $160.00 per hour, $1100.00 per day, or $5000.00 per week
for short term engagements. Long-term engagements and partnership
agreements result in significantly lower rates.
Small
Business Basic Computer Security Review - $3000
A 2-3 day engagement for sites with 20 seats or less. Provides a
basic information security audit covering the general information security
policy, the acceptable use policy for computer and information assets,
and inspection of each machine for up-to-date patches and virus definitions.
One day of training from the Isbell course library is included in the
engagement. Specific training and audit topics can be tailored to
suit the client.
Small
Business Extended Computer Security Review - $5000
A 4-5 day engagement for sites with 10-40 seats. Covers the areas
included in the basic security review, plus software license compliance,
review of data backup procedures, review of disaster recovery plan, and
review of physical security and access control. One day of training
from the Isbell course library is included in the engagement. Specific
training and audit topics can be tailored to suit the client.
Risk
and Vulnerability Assessment - $5000-$10,000
Typically a 3-5 day engagement at each facility involving a team comprised
of 2-3 Isbell personnel and 1 or 2 people from the client's staff.
Work to be accomplished includes identifying information and computing
assets, identify and evaluate risks, threats and vulnerabilities, developing
plan for risk mitigation or reduction, and suggested policies and procedures
for ongoing risk management and security assessment. Work product
delivery within 10 days of on-site work. Pricing and time required
may change substantially for large facilities or data centers. Network
penetration testing may be added to engagement at additional cost.
