CR000 - Crisis Response
   
This session is designed to provide information and response strategies for several crisis situations.  The first module is awareness of the precautions and preparedness necessary for the threat of Anthrax and other biological agents.  The next module  provides knowledge of proper responses to threats involving explosives.  The final module covers how to prepare employees for emergency evacuation through establishment of procedures and practice.  
   
Objectives:  
  • Learn the eighteen factors in identifying and handling suspicious packages.

  • Understand the meaning of “Red Flag”.
  • Gain knowledge of what a CDC Advisory is.
  • Understand the things NOT to do.

  • Outline procedure for discovery of suspicious container
  • Gain knowledge on responses and concerns.
  • Learn evacuation preparedness procedures.
  • Understand the importance of practice.
  • Gain knowledge of policies to limit vulnerability.
  • Understand the necessity of notification.
  • Gain knowledge of “Tips” concerning preparedness.
  • Understand how to eliminate opportunities for hazards.
  • Ability to identify vulnerabilities.

  • Gain understanding of the importance of alarms.
  • Ability to ensure successful evacuation through practice.
